This Privacy Policy explains how Shand Labs LLC, a Florida single-member limited liability company doing business as You Got A Site ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the You Got A Site platform at yougotasite.com and app.yougotasite.com, and the generation, hosting, editing, and publishing of marketing websites and related domain services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
This Policy applies to (a) business owners and authorized users who create an account, claim a site, edit content, or pay for the Services ("Customers"); (b) prospective Customers we reach out to about a generated preview site; and (c) visitors to our marketing site and to the websites we publish. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of the businesses whose websites we build, or of any third-party site we link to.
Information you provide. When you create an account, claim a site, communicate with us, or purchase the Services, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and details, login credentials, and the content, images, and materials you upload or authorize us to use ("Customer Content").
Information from public business listings. To generate a preview site before you claim it, we collect publicly available business information — such as your business name, category, address, phone number, hours, photos, and reviews — from public sources including your Google Business Profile listing.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party processor, Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment-card and billing details directly; we do not store full card numbers. We receive limited information such as a payment token, the last four digits, card brand, and the status of a transaction.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our providers automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages and features used, referring URLs, and timestamps, including through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5). We also collect aggregate analytics about visits and interactions with the websites we publish on your behalf.
We use personal information to: provide, operate, and improve the Services; generate, host, edit, and publish your Site; register and manage Domains on your behalf; process payments and manage Subscriptions; authenticate accounts and prevent fraud and abuse; respond to inquiries and provide support; send transactional and service messages; contact prospective Customers about a generated preview site; produce aggregate analytics and metrics; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms and protect our rights, our users, and the public.
We rely on legal bases including performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests (such as operating and securing the Services and limited outreach about a preview site we built for your business), your consent where required, and compliance with law.
Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. These include, among others, Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, content delivery, email, and domain registration through Amazon Route 53 and its registry partners), Stripe (payment processing), and providers we use for messaging and analytics.
Published content. Customer Content you provide is, by the nature of the Services, published on the public website we host for you and is therefore accessible to anyone who visits that site.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We and our providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and understand how the Services and the sites we publish are used. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Services function (for example, staying logged in).
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, your Site is hosted, or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain business records. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information indefinitely. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use.
You may access or update much of your account information by signing in to the Services or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at support@yougotasite.com; we will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
Marketing and outreach. You may opt out of marketing or outreach messages by following the unsubscribe instructions in a message or by contacting us; we will still send you transactional or service messages necessary to operate your account and Services.
Because we may act as a processor for Customer Content on behalf of our Customers, if your information appears on a website we host for a business, please direct requests about that content to the business that operates the site; we will support our Customers in responding.
The Services are intended for businesses and users who are at least 18 years old. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We operate in the United States, and the Services and their infrastructure are located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
The Services rely on and may link to third-party services (including Amazon Web Services, Stripe, Google, and others). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
If you have questions about this Policy or our handling of personal information, contact us at support@yougotasite.com or by mail at Shand Labs LLC, 1691 Forum Pl, Ste B #492, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
