You Got A Site (a service of Shand Labs LLC) builds and hosts marketing websites for local businesses. We want every visitor — including people who rely on assistive technology — to be able to find a business, read about its services, and get in touch. This statement covers the You Got A Site platform (yougotasite.com and app.yougotasite.com) and the websites we generate and host for our customers.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our target standard and work toward it across the platform and every site we generate. Because our customers’ sites are built from shared templates, an accessibility improvement to those templates reaches every site we host.
Every generated site uses semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions, color palettes checked for sufficient text contrast, text that scales and reflows on any screen size, alternative text on images, keyboard-operable links and buttons with visible focus, and labeled form fields.
These properties come from the site templates themselves, so they apply consistently rather than page-by-page.
Portions of each site — photos, menus, service descriptions, and other business details — come from the business itself or from its public listings. We cannot always guarantee that customer-provided content meets the same standard, but we correct issues we find or that are reported to us.
Some embedded third-party features (for example scheduling or booking widgets provided by other companies) are outside our direct control. Where an embed is not fully accessible, the same action is always available another way — every site lists the business’s phone number and a contact form.
If you have difficulty using this website or any website we host, or you have suggestions for how we can improve, email us at support@yougotasite.com and include the address of the page. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix verified issues promptly.
